What is Teer?
Teer is a traditional archery-based lottery game that has been played in Northeast India for generations. It is legally operated in Meghalaya under the Meghalaya Amusements and Betting Tax Act, and in Assam under relevant state regulations.
Skilled archers shoot arrows at a circular target in two rounds each working day. The last two digits of the total arrows that hit the target form the winning number for each round.
